PSG 0-1 Nice: Whoever Invented the Crossbar Challenge Owes us an Apology

By: Thomas | November 12th, 2009

We’ve slipped further down the table, players are failing to score, Antoine Kombouare is still employed, and Sylvain Armand has become one of the 15 most capped PSG players ever.

I’ll report on the international break for PSG as it concludes, along with the upcoming friendly against Braga.

I think PSG manager is fine. PSG lacks good defenders. Apart from Sakho & Armand none of the defenders are sound. Camara is injured. Without 2 holding midfielders PSG would crumble.

Attack wise PSG need to finish off chances. Once PSG can play their best team consistently, they will improve their league standing.

Just buy a good reliable CB in January. With return of Hoarau PSG should be able to finish top 5.

In terms of the defense I don’t completely agree. Sakho and Armand are solid, and I don’t have that many problems with Ceara/Jallet. We’ve got good options at right-back, but Kombouare isn’t using them correctly. Once Camara is back the defense should be set. Traore is unreliable. Also, the team seems to preform better without two DM’s. Against Sochaux we played with one and look how that turned out. As I have said before, Chantome NEEDS to be in the side.
