Parisian Internationals
By: Thomas |Just for fun, watch Les Bleus beat Austria.
highlights – MyVideo
Every International break I am reminded how few of our players represent their countries. In fact, often those playing at an Under 21 level are the standout performers.

Both Mamadou Sakho and Younousse Sankhare started the match, Sakho wearing the captains armband [...]
Match Report: PSG 1-1 Lyon
By: Thomas |Report:
We really just can’t deal with those last five minutes, can we? Lyon traveled to Paris on Sunday in an extremely important match, one that could have been vital to the seasons of both clubs. PSG dominated from the outset, testing Hugo Lloris numerous times, and the Lyon team looked a bit lethargic. PSG finally [...]
International Roundup
By: Thomas |I’d like to honor the week with a clip of one of PSG’s greatest ever internationals during his time in Paris:
Ah International week. First off, I am delighted to report that none of our three players on duty came back injured, which is completely spectacular. The reasons for the unusually small amount of PSG players [...]

Friday Ramblings
By: Thomas |Important stuff first: Landon Donovan doesn’t want to come to PSG after all, and no one wants Rothen anymore.
Since I’m still relatively new here and getting to know all of you, I wanted to write a post talking about what teams you support, besides PSG of course, as well as your least favorites. I’ll start:
Transfer Update
By: Thomas |Remind me why this is the second picture Google Images comes up with for Rothen?
1) Jerome Rothen has decided not to play even so much as with the reserves so he doesn’t get injured, which would effectively destroy his transfer chances. Interested Clubs: Blackburn and Saint-Etienne. Snore.
2) Antoine Kombouare is weirdly indifferent about the Rothen [...]
LANDON DONOVAN COMING TO PSG?!?!?
By: Thomas |Yesterday, when sifting through football related sites looking for PSG news, I came across several stories claiming that PSG and the Los Angeles Galaxy are negotiating some kind of deal for striker Landon Donovan. Several sites have reported that Donovan, 27, is looking to come to Europe to prepare for the 2010 World Cup. This [...]
Transfer Thursday!
By: Thomas |Here we are again with the latest transfer news, along with other items worth mentioning.
In:
Richard Soumah: The Guingamp winger has been touted as the replacement for Jerome Rothen, assuming he leaves (see below). L’Equipe has reported that PSG will pay around 3 million euros for the young midfielder. Here’s what Soumah told Le Parisien:
Manager for a Day
By: Thomas |I know the season has already started, and that our transfer season is probably over, but it’s a slow news week, and I couldn’t let a Mercato go by without one of these posts.
