Inara, Charles Villeneuve doesn’t know anything in terms of football. He was the sports chief at TF1 because he was historic at that channel and they did’nt want to fire him. They pulled him from entertainment to go to sports where he only had one magazine, les bleus games and a chhampions league game a week. Compared to Canal+, hardly a gig.
Le Guen may not be good but Villeneuve has Arsene Wenger, a great friend of his in his corner giving him advice so we’ll see.

Inara – everything I’ve seen is that this is the directive of the upper level ownership group and a style of their management but they are staying out of the press. Sébastien Bazin spearheaded the signing of Claude Makélélé as well as Ludovic Giuly, encouraged other investments (i.e. Clairefontaine) and is making sure the younger talent isn’t lost. This is just the start to some very major fundamental changes to the club.

My question is, who do you think is in charge of PSG’s recruitment this summer, CV or Le Guen? Because Le Guen is notoriously bad when it comes to transfers, and I’d feel safer as a PSG fan if this was coming from CV.

Also, Giuly, Makelele, Thuram, even Gallas might be old washed up players, but lack of experience is what’s been hurting PSG in the past. They have a lot of young talented players, but very few who have played on the biggest stages.

If all these signings actually materialize I would make PSG a contender for uefa cup after Milan of course.

Yeah a real revolution in Paris! Its like 68 all over again.

Gallas would be quite a signing for PSG, I guess I don’t really see it happening, but it would be a great signing if it did.
