So since I last posted we have brought in Christophe Jallet from Lorient for an undisclosed fee. He is a 25 year old midfielder but I know little else about him. Have any of you seen him much in action? I think he may be useful support in the center of the park.
EDIT: Jallet is a right back and not a central midfielder.
I have also noted the signing of veteran goalkeeper Willy Grondin from Valenciennes Football Club. This is ridiculous. He is 34 years old, has never been a starting keeper and has made 32 career appearances. I feel we would be far better served in the number two spot with the capable services of Edel Apoula.
I should also note that Yussuf Mulumbu has made a permanent move to West Bromwich-Albion. I am saddened by his departure as I feel he could become a decent player for Les Rouges et Bleus.
