Claude Makélélé update
By: j | July 21st, 2008
The general terms of Claude’s contract, as I suspected, is laden heavily with post playing career incentives. As we predicted the intangibles of this deal made it impossible to resist as this is a obvious a “return home” for Claude and he duly noted that “he feels at home in Paris and it is the most beautiful city in the world.” The deal is effectively a five year contract, two years playing with an option on a third and then he jettisons off as an executive of the club and ambassador to the community. A great move for him, PSG and the entire sporting community of Paris.
