The PSG appeal and suggested compromise to the penalty that was rejected by the Fédération Française de Football (France Football Association) has taken another unique twist. The players union (UNFP - L’Union nationale des footballeurs professionnels) voiced their agreement with PSG’s contention and agreement of the compromise of a closed-door match. They further noted that the players should not be harmed for the actions of a group that they were not involved with and were denounced by both the players and all of Football within France.
