did he really say Alessandro Nesta?
By: j | July 25th, 2008As I perused a number of information sources, I stumbled on a very, very interesting interview at Ansa that notes Charles Villeneuve wishing to bring AC Milan / Italy International Alessandro Nesta to PSG. Now before you make A LOT more out of this, he does mention his intentions are towards next summer so please, my Serie A friends, no hate mail yet.
Of the ridiculous rumours this summer this is going to be one of my favourites. It is “fact” per the interview of a possible action in the future and may never come close to happening.

This guy Charles Villeneuve is amazing! PSG surely will be entertaining this year. Off the pitch for sure. On the pitch time will tell.

Nesta is one of the greatest defenders I’ve seen.
About Obina: I don’t have any info. I didn’t know of any Fenerbahçe situation. I don’t think anybody knew about that.

Aditya – thank you for joining in so much with the forum. I appreciate it. I promise to get to more of your questions but yes, Mr. Villeneuve is certainly working hard in revitalizing the club.
Will you be watching tomorrows friendly online?
Andre – to you as well, thank you for joining in. I certainly agree about Alessandro Nesta.
I will go and post on your section but Fenerbahçe is scheduling or planning to schedule an offer. I will check my source how this is proceeding. Thank you

Forget Nesta and concentrate on French players like Gallas who would be much easier to get.

Oh yeah he did. I had a huge laughing fit for a loooooong time. It might just be more ridiculous than Lyon thinking they can land Eto’o.

Jennifer – I am so glad you got the humour in that. It really is funny, not simply because he’s talking of something that isn’t planning on for another year but there is virtually no ground-work in this. Maybe he could add Juan Román Riquelme as a favour to me – lol
Pierre – thank you for you kind words and joining us. It really is a pleasure to do this and while I’m tempered the length of my typical blogs (and don’t subject everyone to long anecdote’s of the region), I’m hopeful in-time people will understand the real message I am trying to tell, the beauty in the beautiful game.
