Emirates Cup: Rangers

By: Thomas | August 1st, 2009

Today at 15:00 CET, 9:00 AM eastern time, PSG will take on Scottish Premier League club Glasgow Rangers in the Emirates Cup. This game will be held at Emirates Stadium in London, and the winner will qualify for the final, which will be tomorrow against either Atletico Madrid or Arsenal. Rangers have a history as one of the biggest clubs in Europe, and they appear in the Champions League frequently. However, at the moment they are not a particularly good side with no proven stars by which to identify the team.

I am not going to guess the formation, as the players haven’t been announced yet, but I think the scoreline will be…

PSG 2-1 Rangers

I’m hoping for a good match. Check here and here for streams.

    Lineup:
    Coupet
    Jallet Sakho Bourillon Sankhare
    Arnaud Makelele Chantome Rothen
    Erding Maurice

Doesn’t seem like we’re playing the strongest available lineup…

Full time. that was awful. This is Rangers. Thats scotland. It’s unacceptable to lose to them after destroying fiorentina. It was our under 20’s and over 35’s but still. not a good way to start this cup.
