injury update July 31

The club is reporting that both Claude Makélélé (thigh) and Ludovic Giuly (ankle) are out with minor injuries. While they are not serious in nature it is unlikely that they will be used in tomorrow’s friendly against Portuguese club Vitoria Guimaraes. Ceara and Clément Chantôme have modest injury concerns and the club hasn’t stated whether they will have them in the lineup. However given that the season is so close there is no reason to risk complicating the injury and I expect Paul Le Guen to rest them as well.
