Jérémy Clément to Monaco?
By: j | July 20th, 2008
As the Claude Makélélé situation begins to look more and more that he is ready to leave Chelsea and return to France, the role of Jérémy Clément is being questioning in media circles. The word on the street is that various squads on jockeying for position, most notably Monaco and as you would expect, Lyonnais, where his career first blossomed. His style of play would definitely suit Monaco’s new Manager Ricardo Gomes tactics and it said that a formal approach is in the offing should Claude Makélélé join PSG.
Of course the medias assumption might be far off-base as they have not considered the deep professional respect that he and PSG Manager Paul Le Guen share. Jérémy’s started his career with Paul’s tutelage at Lyonnais, continued with him when Paul signed-on with the Rangers and subsequently moved to PSG when he was hired here. I do not see him departing so easily and in-fact I see this as an opportunity to see his play emerge with more broader roles and something he has been working on.
PSG faithful, let me know your thoughts on this please ~

I am sure he will stay. Redrum makes a valid point as to why Clement will and should stay. Plus Clause isn’t going to stay more than a season or so.
