Ludovic Giuly joins PSG

By: j | July 18th, 2008

I will provide a further update with complete details but the brilliant news today is that Ludovic Giuly has left Roma and just inked a three-year with PSG. As reported yesterday, the winger is an extraordinary acquisition for PSG and heralds a new beginning at Parc des Princes. Welcome home!

A very good signing indeed, plenty of experience and enough time ahead of him to make an impact. Makélélé next?

Now I can hope that PSG can clear group stages of UEFA cup at least. It would be nice to sign a good RB too now. Ceara sucks.

Oh man, is it nice to see him in a kit that’s not Roma.

Gaston, he wasn’t a regular at Roma, and said in a press conference today that he never really felt comfortable there.

I agree with you Martha and others that it’s nice to see him return to Ligue 1 and of course to assist in the rebuilding efforts of PSG

Martha - I think we watched the same press conference and I think thats the big thing others are missing. To come to Paris now and be a part of the rebuilding effort will be a great point in any Footballers career particularly for one nearing the end.

This is a good signing for Le Guen. It’ll help waken up PSG’s attack, especially if they don’t resign Pauleta.
