Paul Le Guen’s concern’s of the Coupe de France match
By: j | January 3rd, 2009In his pre-match press conference Paul Le Guen exhibited concern over PSG’s match against ĆDS MontluƧon in the Coupe de France. In complete contrast of recent UEFA Cup matches, he will leave nothing to chance and has given every indication he will field a high octane side. In a foreboding warning, he noted he will look at this round as a separate entity and not as a warm-up for next weeks match against Laurent Blanc’s Bordeaux. It is interesting to note how he will likely use Bordeaux’s 1-0 loss to Saint-Ćtienne in the Coupe as a motivating reminder for his side. As insight into the PSG manager, he stressed the importance of the Coupe de France and how it is near and dear to him.
PSG received good news as PĆ©guy Luyindula has been deemed fit for the match although number one ‘keeper MickaĆ«l Landreau will rest his problematic shoulder and Apoula Edel will step in for him.
