PSG 0-0 Sochaux

By: Come | August 5th, 2007

It was a great atmosphere for the first game at home. Around 40.000 fans came to cheer for their favorite football team! That’s a good sign regarding last season’s finishing. Right from the start, the team tried to open the score by Luyindula and Jerome Rothen but Sochaux’s keeper denied theirs shots.
The new French keeper Landreau had some nice saves as well on his line from a close header by Dagano.
Each team created chances but Paris hit the posts 3 times…..very unlucky! They deserved better I think.
Now the team has a week to practice and to get ready to go to Lens. The Stade Bollard is always a hard place to win…

Here are some pictures from the game:

The first line-up of the season!

Pedro closed to score..

Jerome too fast for Sochaux!

What a nice stadium….

I’m guessing you are not a big fan of PSG. But there are 37 games to play…Last year we lost the first at home so improvement!

Come, how interesting was the match? I thought more goals would be scored. At least we know Landreau will do well for Les Bleus.
