PSG 1-3 Rennes

By: Come | October 7th, 2007

It’s like a deja vu again this season at the Parc des princes. Same story for Paris at home who can’t seems to be able to win a game. Maybe some players feel that the pressure at home is too much for them. Or maybe the coach needs to use some players that have been on the bench too many times this years (yepes, gallardo….)

Yesterday the stadium and the team paid a homage  at Francis Borelli who recently pasted way. During two minutes, the stadium went quiet and each tribune of the stadium had made a nice display to honor Francis Borelli

Here some pictures from last night:

There is no excuse for what is going on at PSG. This is not acceptable. THIS IS PARIS!!!!!!!! PSG should be the best club in France not Lyon. I don’t know what the club’s finances are but they need to make some major signings in the winter transfer period. And I am not talking about the Cearas of the world either. Signing Gouffran would be nice but not enough. What about Romeo Castelen or even taking a shot at Anelka? Also, if Le Guen doesn’t significantly improve the team by the end of the year he should be gone.

Jay, changing manager each season wouldn’t solve the problem… Paris needs to find it’s “style”… With Digard (Le roi du steak haché) as a backbone and Gouffran up front, Le Guen would be able to start his building. He was instrumental in Rennes’ rise and showed he could win with Lyon. Now he’s come to Paris to nurture young talent and bring in “nobodies” that work hard and get results.

After all, he was the guy who signed Malouda, Diarra, Essien, Abidal, Wiltord, Cris and Reveillère… Players who are not exactly references in terms of style, but who give 100% for their team. PSG will become a hard-working team in 2 or 3 seasons, and then he can start to bring in “style”…

LOL, PSG should be disbanded, and players from AS Creteil and AS Evry should be added, maybe that will do you Parisiens some good. (Je suis paname, my arse!!!)

There is something wrong at PSG. Maybe it’s the water, but the club has been one of the biggest underachievers in French football, which is terrible when you consider they have the second biggest budget in France.
