PSG advances in UEFA Cup
By: j | October 2nd, 2008It will not go down as an exciting or even an “entertaining” match but PSG’s nil draw with Kayserispor tactically was a perfect plan to lead the club to the next round of the UEFA Cup. Following their 2-1 victory in Kayseri, PSG went into the match with the tactical mission to eliminate offensive attacks and the to slow the pace of the match down. Kayserispor’s Turgay Bahadir created a few opportunities but each fell short and the match was restricted from box to box.
Both clubs return to action on Sunday, with PSG facing AS Nancy whilst Kayserispor travels to Istanbul to face Fenerbahçe at Şükrü Saracoğlu

From what i can see is that PSG is winning even if the do not produce much in the game but in the end of the day a win is a win and thats all what counts! I think what has really been PSG’s major break through is their defense and the fantastic form of Landreau has really gave them the ability to win games or at least gain a point that will give them the platform to challenge for the UEFA cup and be in a top position in the league!
