Laurie, thank you for dropping by and I’m glad you were able to watch the match.

I agree with you, PSG played with heart and were in position to win. Although disappointing that they couldn’t get the winning strike, it is something to build up.

As far as Mateja, I hope that Paul Le Guen realizes what he has and uses him appropriately. I think half of my previews and have mentioned him and he should be a fixture in the lineup. Regarding his loan, it is to the end of the year and there has been no comments yet on whether they will ante up after.

This was one of the games that was simultaneously heartening and heartbreaking. Heartening because PSG had a fantastic second half and played with heart against a City side that seemed to be just going through the motions. Heartbreaking because they really deserved the win. Next time Luyindula needs to bring his accuracy boots — I think they must have been lost by the airline.

And I was also very impressed by Kezman, starting about the time stared down somebody (Dunne?) and showed that he couldn’t be pushed around. How long is he in Paris on loan? Are they looking to buy him?
