PSG makes critical error regarding management

By: j | May 6th, 2009

Although brewing for quite some time, Paris Saint-Germain surprised many when it announced that they “will not be renewing the contract of coach Paul Le Guen”.

After featuring as a stalwart defender for les Rouge et Bleu throughout most of the 1990’s, the club called upon the former captain in January 2007 to lead them in a perilous fight to avoid relegation. Under his guidance the Parisians captured Coupe de la Ligue, fought to the latter stages of the UEFA Cup and are vying for a Champions League berth as he departs.

i don’t know what the hell is going in Ligue 1? does anybody except Bordeaux want to keep their coach? who does PSG think is out there who is going to be better? seems like a rash and reactionary decision to me, too…

It’s a foolish decision by the club but PSG supporters need to ready for some changes in the club finances.
